1. How does the Carbon Guard EVO model differ from the standard version?

The key difference lies in the visual design of the outer layer, which features a fabric with wider carbon fibers. This gives the EVO guards a modern, highly technical appearance, while the internal carbon–Kevlar composite structure remains just as uncompromising as in other professional ProLeggera models.
The Kevlar/carbon shell is only 1 mm thick and is paired with 6 mm of internal shock-absorbing foam. The hybrid composite construction ensures excellent structural strength and stiffness while maintaining a minimal profile that does not interfere on the shin.

2.  What are the technical specifications of the EVO version, and are these football shin guards suitable for children?

Yes. The size S model is specifically designed for children, junior players, and anyone who prefers a minimalist feel (ideally for heights between 140–160 cm).

Despite the more pronounced fabric texture, the EVO model maintains an extremely low weight of approximately 20 g (size S) and a minimal overall thickness. The Kevlar/carbon shell is only 1 mm thick, while the inner shock-absorbing foam measures 6 mm.

Using wider fiber bundles does not affect the shin guard's flexibility or adaptability in any way — thanks to the inner memory foam, it fits perfectly to the shin and feels completely natural during play.
