The Kevlar/carbon shell is just 1 mm thick and is combined with 6 mm of internal shock-absorbing foam. The hybrid composite construction ensures excellent structural strength and rigidity while preserving a low-profile shape of 16 × 8 cm, remaining unobtrusive and discreet on the shin.
