ProLeggera Shin Guard Testimonials

Thanks to the carbon material, PROLEGGERA shin guards are extremely lightweight, fit perfectly, and during play I hardly notice them at all. I also appreciate the precise craftsmanship and the fact that they are handmade in the Czech Republic. For players who are looking for maximum lightness and comfort without compromise, these carbon shin guards make perfect sense.

FAQ
Interested in the technical background of our carbon–Kevlar products? Below you'll find answers to the most common questions from players transitioning to professional-grade composite equipment.
1. How does the Carbon Guard EVO model differ from the standard version?
The main difference lies in the visual treatment of the outer layer, which uses a fabric with wider carbon fibers. This design gives the EVO guards a modern, highly technical appearance, while the internal carbon–Kevlar composite structure remains just as uncompromising as in other professional ProLeggera models.
The Kevlar/carbon shell is only 1 mm thick and is paired with 6 mm of internal shock-absorbing foam. The hybrid composite construction provides excellent structural strength and stiffness while maintaining a minimal profile of 16 × 8 cm, ensuring the guards do not interfere on the shin.
2. What are the technical specifications of the EVO version?
Despite the more pronounced fabric texture, the EVO model retains an extremely low weight of approximately 27 g (size M) and an ultra-thin profile.
The use of wider fiber bundles has no negative impact on flexibility or adaptability. Thanks to the internal memory foam, the guard conforms perfectly to the shape of the shin, creating a secure and natural fit.
3. Who is the EVO design line intended for?
The EVO range is designed for footballers who want to stand out and prefer a progressive, industrial carbon aesthetic. It is an ideal choice for players seeking a combination of traditional Czech craftsmanship and the latest trends in composite materials—where visual design is just as important as performance and functionality.
