1. How is the unique silver effect created?

The ProLeggera Silver Guard model features a thin outer layer made from special glass fibers infused with aluminum. This combination creates a distinctive metallic, carbon-style twill finish, which forms an integral part of the guard's hybrid Kevlar/carbon construction.
The Kevlar/carbon shell is just 1 mm thick and is combined with 6 mm of internal shock-absorbing foam. The hybrid composite construction delivers high structural strength and stiffness while maintaining an ultra-minimal profile of 14 × 7 cm, ensuring the guard remains unobtrusive and discreet on the shin

2. Are the Silver Guard football shin guards suitable for children, and why are they so lightweight?

Yes. The size S shin guards are designed specifically for children, junior players, and anyone who prefers a minimalist feel (ideally for heights between 140–160 cm).

The secret behind their extremely low weight (only 20 g in size S) lies in the hybrid sandwich structure combining carbon and Kevlar. Unlike heavy plastic shin guards, you'll barely notice the Silver Guard during play. Reducing the load on the shin helps minimize muscle fatigue and allows you to maintain maximum speed, agility, and ball control right up to the final minute of the match.

3. Are Silver Guard shin guards anatomically shaped, and will they fit properly?

Yes. The shape of the guards is based on a detailed ergonomic analysis of the shin bone. They are designed in an asymmetrical left/right configuration to precisely follow the natural contour of the leg without protruding.
Thanks to the ultra-thin profile and internal memory foam, the guards sit securely under the sock and remain perfectly in place throughout the game.
