The indicated weight of 27 g refers to a single guard. Since we use a hand-layering and lamination process for composite fibers, the weight of individual pieces may vary within a tolerance of ± 1–3 g. This variation is a direct result of our meticulous craftsmanship, which allows us to achieve maximum strength while maintaining an extremely low weight.

1.How is the unique silver effect created?

The ProLeggera Silver Guard model features a thin outer layer made from special glass fibers infused with aluminum. This combination creates a distinctive metallic, carbon-style twill look, which is an integral part of the guard's hybrid Kevlar/carbon construction.
The Kevlar/carbon shell is just 1 mm thick and is combined with 6 mm of internal shock-absorbing foam. The hybrid composite construction delivers excellent structural strength and stiffness while maintaining a minimal profile of 16 × 8 cm, ensuring the guard remains unobtrusive and discreet on the shin

2. Why are Silver Guard shin guards so light, and how does this affect my game?

The secret behind the extremely low weight—just 27 g in size M—lies in the use of a hybrid carbon–Kevlar sandwich structure. Unlike heavy plastic shin guards, Silver Guard is virtually unnoticeable during play.
Reducing load on the shin minimizes muscle fatigue and allows you to maintain maximum speed, agility, and ball control right through to the final minute of the match. 

3. Are Silver Guard shin guards anatomically shaped, and will they fit properly?

Yes. The shape of the guards is based on a detailed ergonomic analysis of the shin bone. They are designed in an asymmetrical left/right configuration to precisely follow the natural contour of the leg without protruding.
Thanks to the ultra-thin profile and internal memory foam, the guards sit securely under the sock and stay perfectly in place throughout the game.
