1. How does the Carbon Guard EVO differ from the standard version?
The primary difference lies in the visual treatment of the outer layer, which uses a fabric with wider carbon fibers. This design gives the EVO guards a more modern, technical appearance, while the internal carbon–Kevlar composite structure remains just as uncompromising as in other professional ProLeggera models.
The Kevlar/carbon shell is only 1 mm thick and is combined with 6 mm of internal shock-absorbing foam. The hybrid composite construction ensures excellent structural strength and stiffness while maintaining a minimal profile that does not interfere on the shin.
2. What are the technical specifications of the EVO version?
Despite the more pronounced fabric texture, the EVO model retains an extremely low weight of approximately 30 g (size L) and an ultra-thin profile.
The use of wider fiber bundles does not affect flexibility or adaptability. Thanks to the internal memory foam, the guard conforms perfectly to the shape of the shin, offering a secure and comfortable fit.
